Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Nordic Rates salesperson to join our trading floor in Stockholm and contribute to the continued development of our Scandinavian institutional franchise. In this role, you willcover a sophisticated client base of asset managers, insurers, banks and hedge funds, and originate business across a broad range of Fixed Income Rates products, including cash, derivatives, volatility and financing solutions.

This is a senior, client-facing position for a commercially driven professional with strong Rates market expertise, established credibility with Nordic institutional investors, and the ability to work closely with sales and trading teams to deliver high-value client solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead and deepen relationships with Nordic institutional clients, developing trusted dialogue and

    delivering investment and risk-management solutions tailored to client objectives

  • Cover Scandinavian clients within the Rates business, combining active account management with

    focused business development across the region

  • Originate and distribute the full spectrum of Fixed Income Rates products, including cash, derivatives, volatility and financing-related solutions

  • Expand wallet share by promoting advisory-led, higher-value products and identifying opportunities to grow the profitability of the franchise

  • Ensure high-quality execution and follow-up of transactions through to final settlement

  • Maintain the highest standards in relation to risk discipline, internal controls and regulatory procedures

  • Work in close coordination with sales and trading teams across the platform to provide consistent, value-added client coverage

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, engineering, business or a related discipline

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained within a Rates sales environment

  • Previous experience in a Rates sales team covering Scandinavian institutional clients is strongly preferred

Language skills:

  • Fluent English is required

  • Fluency in at least one Scandinavian language is required

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income and Rates markets, including the investment needs and behaviour of institutional clients

  • Proven commercial judgement and the ability to build, develop and monetise long-term client relationships

  • Confidence in discussing both flow products and more tailored advisory, hedging or financing solutions with sophisticated clients

  • Strong execution discipline, sound judgement, and a high level of awareness of risk and regulatory expectations

  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading-floor environment
