Responsibilities

Indirect Tax & GST

  • Own end-to-end GST compliance, including return filings (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑6, GSTR‑9/9C), reconciliations, and credits tracking.
  • Manage GST audits, departmental notices, assessments, and litigation in coordination with consultants.
  • Interpret and implement GST law changes, circulars, and notifications, assessing business impact.
  • Strengthen GST governance, controls, reconciliations, and documentation.
SEZ Regulatory & Logistics
  • Manage SEZ compliances and approvals, including coordination with SEZ authorities, Development Commissioners, and Customs.
  • Oversee SEZ logistics operations such as movement of goods/services, documentation, endorsements, and compliance with SEZ rules.
  • Ensure timely filings, renewals, and reporting under SEZ regulations.
  • Act as the key liaison between tax, finance, operations, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted SEZ operations.
  • Support audits and inspections related to SEZ and indirect tax matters.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and authorities on indirect tax and SEZ matters.
  • Partner with finance, procurement, supply chain, and business teams on tax and regulatory implications of transactions.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization of indirect tax and SEZ workflows.
Direct Tax 
  • Provide support for direct tax activities such as withholding tax (TDS/TCS), tax computations, return-related data collation, and notices handling.
  • Support tax provisioning, audits, and compliance-related documentation when required.

Profile required



Role Profile

  • Qualified tax professional with strong hands-on experience in Indirect Tax and SEZ regulations, preferably in IT/ITeS or GCC environments.
  • Solid understanding of GST law, SEZ framework, regulatory interfaces, and operational logistics.
  • Working knowledge of Direct Tax to act as a reliable functional backup when required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and external consultants.
  • High attention to detail, strong documentation discipline, and a control-oriented mindset.
  • Practical, business-aligned approach with the ability to balance compliance rigor and operational continuity.
