Responsibilities

This is a 6-month contract (agency-temp) role.

The contractor would be responsible to assist with ad-hoc projects to review the adequacy of controls and governance vis a vis regulations and exchange rules for APAC markets, with a focus on order and execution management, market integrity and short sell. The controls review includes notably pre-trade controls for Principal business, pre-trade controls for Agency business, and Post trade surveillance controls.

Supervision:
The role and the mission will be overseen by the APAC Head of MARK Advisory Compliance.

Profile required

  • Relevant experience in the field of Global Markets Compliance Advisory
  • Seasoned professional with a thorough understanding of market execution processes and controls, and more specifically order management, execution management, short sell management
  • Sound knowledge of Capital Markets control framework 
  • Experience in managing stakeholders in multicultural context is a must
  • Track record of providing advice and leading change in regulatory context is a must

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective coordination, communication, presentation, motivating and public speaking skills
  • Strong stakeholder management: Ability to discuss with the business (adopting an independent partner posture, while understanding concerns), of having convictions and keeping them, and ability to explain his/her positions.
  • Autonomy, Ability to make decisions, Rigor, Integrity, Exemplarity.
