Trainee
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting XAS Sales on business activity for customers.
- Assist to perform comprehensive marketing support to sales including preparing pitchbook etc
- Do all the internal support work to sales including risk calculation, pricing checking, deal checking, XAS deal data collection, sales reporting co-ordination, deal booking & trade execution upon approval etc.
- Communicate with client on KYC/onboarding matters and after-deal follow-up matters such as deal confirmation collection and deal settlement (subject to internal proper approval)
- Help to manage related customer files and support service administration work, such as document filing, etc.
- Post trade follow up, including settlement, confirmation and sales credit monitoring etc.
- Support to collect information, market intelligence on customers
- Other assigned tasks
Profile required
- Bachelor/master's degree from reputable university, better major in Economics and Finance; banking/finance background is a plus
- Good knowledge and understanding of financial market and derivative products; Intern or short-term experience in banking industry or securities companies is a big plus
- Strong communication and personal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable, Proactive and able to deliver on time and meet expectations
- Good sense of integrity and self-motivated
- Be able to work hard under pressure
- Good at both oral and written English
- Be able to use word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office

Responsible for contacting and expanding global markets business, including foreign exchange, interest rate, fixed income products and transactions, and structured product relating to interest rate, exchange rate, and derivatives business for institutional and corporate clients, and ensure meeting the bank's established performance objectives under the circumstances of compliance and controllable risks.
