Project Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain a comprehensive automated testing environment from the ground up. You will be the technical cornerstone of our QA strategy, driving test automation excellence across the full software delivery lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure continuous quality delivery in an Agile environment.
This is a greenfield opportunity: you will architect the testing ecosystem, define best practices, and establish the tooling pipeline from scratch.

Specifically, you will be required to:
Test Architecture & Strategy› Design and implement a robust test automation framework from scratch using Selenium Grid and Playwright
› Define the overall QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices for the team
› Architect scalable and maintainable test suites covering UI, API, and integration layers
› Drive the adoption of a shift-left testing approach across engineering teams
CI/CD & DevOps Integration› Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated test execution
› Integrate test automation into the development workflow using GitHub repositories and branching strategies
› Configure parallel and distributed test execution via Selenium Grid for optimal performance
› Monitor test execution reports, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement
Test Development & Maintenance› Develop and maintain end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional test suites
› Implement cross-browser and cross-platform test strategies using Playwright
› Ensure test data management strategies are in place and well-documented
› Perform regular refactoring of test code to ensure long-term maintainability
Collaboration & Leadership› Act as a technical mentor for junior and mid-level QA engineers
› Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria
› Produce clear technical documentation (test plans, reports, architecture decisions)
› Communicate test results and quality status to local stakeholders
Profile required
Technical Skills › Selenium WebDriver & Selenium Grid (setup + config) › Playwright (TypeScript or Python) › GitHub & GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines) › Test framework knowledge (pytest, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) › API testing (REST/SOAP — Postman, RestAssured, etc.) › Docker / containerisation basics › Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Java, or TypeScript
Soft Skills & Other Requirements › 5+ years in software testing with 3+ in automation › Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch › Strong analytical and problem-solving skills › Excellent communication and documentation abilities › Ability to work autonomously and lead technical decisions › French language level B1 — written and spoken › Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
Nice to have
Experience with Tosca for model-based test automation. Certification is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with JMeter, Gatling, or k6 for load and performance test scenarios.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for cloud-hosted test environments.
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Datadog for test result dashboards.
