Senior Global Category Manager
Responsibilities
Responsabilities:
· Oversees and monitors the service delivery and the reporting on a recurring basis on agreed KPIs;
· Coordinates relationship with BL management and Ayvens SC management;
· Acts as key interface for process and tools with GCOO/ACH to ensure to spread knowledge within the team, good practices and compliance;
· Managerial supervision: performs local managerial supervision in line with Ayvens SC framework;
· Manages local buyers: Ensures onboarding of new comers locally and in conjunction with BL for global sourcing;
· Deploys the purchasing strategy(s) while guaranteeing the Group's purchasing performance;
· In charge of the source-to-contract process on the scope/categories assigned to him/her, ensures that his/her buyers take charge of purchasing projects in support of business partners by challenging demand and activating all negotiation levers to select the most appropriate supplier or products and services at the best cost.
· Implements and manages continuous improvement approaches within the organization of his division;
· Manages and leads the relationship with the main business partners, particularly in the context of the BU/SU coverage approach.
Profile required
- A solid background in indirect procurement and category management, with minim 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing sourcing activities, supplier governance, and contract lifecycle management;
- Experience in managing category budgets, driving cost optimization, and sustaining supplier performance;
- Experience with transformation, continuous improvement, and guiding teams through evolving procurement models and digital tools;
- Good command of French and English (min. B1);
- Effective interpersonal skills in an multicultural environment;
- Motivated by dynamic business environment.
