Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and client-oriented Talent and HR Associate to join Bernstein. You will partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition and our Human Resources Business Partner to play a key role combining HR Operations, Recruiting, and Talent, working directly with the business.

The Role

  • In this client-facing role you will develop relationships across the business and become a point person to handle a wide range of HR and Talent inquires
  • Own the employee onboarding process and experience: including facilitating the offer and background check process, acting as the main point of contact for technology, compliance, and other relevant stakeholders, and proactively advising managers and new joiners on next steps and queries
  • Centers of Excellence (COE) Partnership: Work hand in hand closely with HR Centers of Excellence on all processes
  • Guide the offshored administration teams on any HR transactions, checking their work when necessary
  • Employee offboarding: process terminations and liaise with relevant stakeholders, and support with exit interviews as necessary
  • Data Management: ensure data accuracy in PeopleSoft and manage all employee changes
  • Assist the Talent Team on other projects including promotions, annual compensation review, and other talent management activities
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for support functions e.g. legal, compliance, technology, operations – approximately 10 requisitions a year
  • Provide support for Immigration e.g. job descriptions, partnering on the Green Card process (posting roles and reviewing resumes)
  • Project Manage talent initiatives linked to culture programming, and communications
  • Ad hoc HR data and reporting requirements, in addition to coordinating data requests from the wider business

Profile required

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in HR operations or facilitating HR processes
  • Familiarity with a variety of HR systems including Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS, onboarding programs
  • Background in recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, and partnering with hiring mangers
  • Strong attention to detail and experience appropriately handing confidential information 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR or Talent experience
  • Project management experience
  • Data visualization skills
