Responsibilities

Lead Software Engineer - Automation Tester

  • Lead and collaborate QA members to set automation standards and best practices within the team.
  • Identify opportunities and drive the implementation of automation to improve service health, manageability, and reliability.
  • Collaborative communication with Paris counterparts and all feature teams in CEQ
  • Develop Automation Frameworks, evaluate toolsets, suggest application specific solutions.
  • Lead the design and impact analysis of all new features and enhancements.
  • Lead all aspects of Software Testing Lifecyle (STLC) in-line with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles.
  • Identify methods to sustain and improve various craftsmanship areas.
  • Lead the timely delivery of assigned artifacts with defined quality parameters. 
  • Perform code review and ensure the quality of code, constantly. 
  • Automate manual tasks of application maintenance and support to improve efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives of test framework modernization.
  • Constantly learn new/emerging technologies and mentor teams.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, development teams, chapter and feature teams.
  • Lead Test Technical Guilds. 
  • Complete the assigned learning path and contribute to daily meetings.
  • Identify new areas of technology and use cases for data validation and implementation.
  • Performance Testing using a variety of toolsets.

As a Lead -

  • Qualification- BE / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic track record
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in Software Testing with Hands on experience in Test Automation
  • Experienced with Jenkins, GIT & API Testing.
  • Experienced with Performance Testing open-source automation tools.
  • Agile and Scrum experience.
  • Experience in building functional test cases based on the requirement.
  • Aspiration to learn and acquire Functional knowledge on the applications that we work on.
  • Basic knowledge on Derivatives.
  • Ability to understand the requirements and convert them to test cases.
  • Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge on various test case design techniques and testing methodologies

Good to have:

  • Experience in Investment Banking sector
  • Knowledge on Agile development methodologies, and exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Good Communication skills
  • Experience on Test Management tool-JIRA ZEPHYR
  • Database skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL & SQL server)
  • Exposure to Python, Shell scripting will be a plus.
