Trainee - Emerging Markets Credit Trading

Are you curious about financial markets, global economies, and how trading decisions are made in real time?
We’re looking for a motivated and analytical Trainee to join our Emerging Markets Credit Trading team in London. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a fast-paced trading desk, working alongside experienced traders and sales professionals.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the team, you’ll play an active role in supporting trading activity and gaining exposure to global credit markets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting traders in managing day-to-day trading activity
- Monitoring financial markets and preparing reports on trading performance
- Assisting with the pricing and analysis of Emerging Markets credit
- Contributing to the development of tools used for valuation and risk management
- Working closely with sales, operations, and other teams across the business
- Helping track client activity and identify new opportunities
From day one, you’ll be exposed to live market dynamics and develop a practical understanding of how trading desks operate.
Profile required
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking candidates who are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong interest in financial markets and emerging economies
- Analytical mindset with good numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Previous internship experience in finance is a plus
