Responsibilities

You primary focus will be on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, and occasionally representing the department or function at a broader level. You will provide Trade Support for the Investment Grade Primary Desk, including the daily reconciliation, support and associated DTC/Euroclear/FED settlement of Fixed Income Products.

Responsibilities:
•    Trade support of IG Syndicate desk for corporate and US Treasuries bonds.
•    Ensure proper controls are in place to resolve trade breaks in a timely manner, meet all regulatory reporting requirements (TRACE, Reg M , Section 11d, Canadian Sales), 
•    Balance positions and work with operation teams to monitor GSCC, NSCC, DTC and Euroclear.
•    Use TRACE, Bloomberg, Impact, DirectBooks, Issuenet, BondBook, MS Excel
•    Monitor/ Action Reconciliations (Positions, Transactions) in several systems, request CUSIPs, request and validate Bloomberg Description Pages are correct, FINRA TRACE setups, verify accuracy of setups in front end systems 
•    Prepare and send internal announcements to align downstream teams, ensure updates / changes are communicated to relevant ops teams. Ensure smooth settlement on settlement date (working w/ Operations and FO teams).
•    Handle operational ad-hoc queries from Desk, Product Control, Compliance, and Operations.
•    Support the implementation of new business initiatives while maintaining efficiencies and controls.
•    Ensure all queries/issues are addressed in a timely fashion. Escalate issues when necessary. 
•    Reconcile all trade differences quickly to ensure all bookings are accurate
•    Ensure positions are in sync and resolve any position breaks with Operations teams.
•    Work with operations to resolve fails and unmatched trades in a timely fashion.
•    Ensure all amendments are accurate and approved by Syndicate and Secondary desk (when necessary) for audit transparency.
•    Assist with Roadshow planning
•    Familiarity with MIFID regulations and ensure their compliance whenever necessary.
•    Complete and maintain post-trade deal files
•    Coordinate all league table filings/league table data maintenance.

Profile required

•    4 year degree or equivalent industry experience
•    Strong knowledge of FI products and knowledge of settlement processes
•    Knowledge of trading regulatory policies and procedures i.e. TRACE, RegM
•    Proficient with trading systems and personal computers
•    Strong communication skills-both oral and written
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Maintaining a positive attitude.
•    Strong computer/presentation skills
•    Team oriented approach.
•    Ability to work well across product groups and product lines.
•    Maintaining a positive attitude.
•    Series 7 & 63 licenses required

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
