Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Sales team in covering corporate clients, including German large-cap and multinational corporates, across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Benelux and the Nordics, with an initial focus on FX and Money Market products.

• Respond to client requests, prepare pricing indications and coordinate execution of FX and Money Market transactions in close cooperation with Trading and senior sales colleagues.

• Contribute to the identification of client hedging, liquidity and risk management needs and help develop suitable product ideas and market-driven solutions.

• Support and gradually take ownership of selected client relationships, workflows or product initiatives.

• Prepare client materials, including market updates, pricing summaries, trade ideas, presentations, term sheets and scenario analyses, in cooperation with Structuring, Advisory, Research and Marketing.

• Support the broader team in preparing client meetings, following up on opportunities and maintaining high-quality day-to-day service.

• Assist with onboarding, KYC, credit line management, documentation and post-trade coordination, working closely with internal stakeholders and control functions.

• Help drive the use of digital execution channels and e-platforms, including SG Markets and relevant multi-bank platforms, where appropriate for client workflows.

• Develop a strong understanding of FX, Money Markets and Interest Rate Derivatives products, with the opportunity to increase responsibility in Rates-related client coverage and execution over time.

• Build trusted professional relationships with corporate clients, internal partners and global Corporate Sales teams.

• Help maintain and improve business data, client statistics, pipeline tracking and commercial reporting.

• Contribute ideas, share best practices and help improve processes across the Corporate Sales platform.

Profile required

Experience / Technical Skills 

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

• First experience in financial markets, corporate treasury, banking, markets sales, trading, structuring, risk management or a related area is preferred.

• Good understanding of financial markets, with an interest in FX, Money Markets, interest rates, derivatives and corporate risk management.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to understand client needs and translate market developments into relevant risk management ideas.

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Bloomberg, pricing tools, data analysis, automation tools, SG Markets or other electronic execution platforms would be an advantage.

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential.

• Strong technical and operational discipline, including the ability to manage live requests, internal processes and documentation requirements accurately.

The Corporate FX and Interest Rate Sales Team in Frankfurt provides risk management, liquidity and investment solutions to a diversified corporate client base, including German large-cap and multinational corporates, across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Benelux and the Nordics.

We offer an integrated approach to corporate financial risk management, delivering both standard and tailored solutions across FX, Money Markets and Interest Rate Derivatives. Our product scope includes FX spot, forwards and options, money market and liquidity solutions, interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, option strategies, inflation hedging, market hedge coordination mandates and deal-contingent transactions linked to M&A situations.

The team works closely with Coverage, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, DCM/ECM, Trading, Structuring, Research, Legal, Credit, Operations and digital execution partners, while leveraging Société Générale’s global markets platform and international network.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales professional to support and further develop our FX and Money Markets franchise. Over time, and depending on interest and development, the role may also broaden into Interest Rate Derivatives coverage and broader corporate risk management solutions.
