Structured Solutions Middle Office Coordinator
Responsibilities
The Structured Solutions and Leasing Team specialize in Loans, Leasing, and Structured Solutions, its Middle Office is a cross-location team. Main mission of the team is to oversee the deal life cycle management by supporting the closing phases, managing loan and lease events as well as handling SPV, subsidiary treasury functions and reporting. Furthermore, the Structured Solutions Middle Office Analysts ensure regulatory compliance by monitoring risk-weighted assets and performing first-level controls. Warsaw has become a new point on the Structured Solutions and Leasing Team’s map. As the new members have taken over part of the responsibilities and collaborate with Europe-based colleagues, we are looking for a Coordinator who will help organize day-to-day activity.
As a Structured Solutions Middle Office Coordinator, you will supervise the work of your Analyst colleagues as well as doing your part. While you will not manage people, providing guidance and mentoring will be a big part of your day-to-day job. You will act as the first point of contact and be the bridge between your colleagues, your manager, the Europe-based team, and other departments.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Coordinating team activity by conducting Morning Meetings and driving collaborative problem solving
Promoting a spirit of mutual aid and cooperation within the team, supported by team’s manager
Contributing to ensuring that all operating procedures are properly documented and up to date
Building trusting and long-term relationships with internal and external business partners
Reporting incidents and complaints to the manager and following through on defined next steps
Training new joiners and supporting team members in developing expertise
Participating in deals’ pre-closing, closing and post-closing phases in collaboration with the closing team
Managing all components of lease invoicing and payments
Managing leases/loans-related flows, treasury of subsidiaries and SPVs
Managing other events related to the life cycle of the loans/leases (such as pre-payments, repayments, amendments, ...)
Managing Risk Weighted Asset for the deals in portfolio
Monitoring some administrative tasks related to the deals (covenants, lease registrations, powers, ...)
Reporting (internally and externally) and acting as a main point of contact for internal and external auditors
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You have worked in a back/ middle office in a bank (ideally previous experience with leasing or structured finance)
You have experience as a coordinator, process owner, or subject matter expert
You understand accounting principles and middle office processes
You easily establish rapport and nurture trusting professional relationships
You are a skilled Excel user (i.e. you can create and use pivot tables)
You speak English very well (French is a big plus)
You enjoy learning and using new technologies (such as AI)
You like collaborating with others to achieve a common goal
You are interested in complex financial structure and eager to deepen your knowledge
