Graduate Analyst, Investment Banking Division (Hong Kong)
Responsibilities
Join our structured Investment Banking Division Graduate Program in Hong Kong and build a strong foundation across key product areas within investment banking. This opportunity is designed for graduates who are motivated to develop technical expertise, gain exposure to live transactions and learn from experienced bankers.
Over the course of the program, you will rotate across core investment banking teams and develop a broad understanding of strategic advisory and capital markets solutions. You will work on meaningful assignments, contribute to live deal activity and build the skills needed for a long-term career in investment banking.
Rotation Areas
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Support the execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation and industry research
- Assist in preparing presentations, transaction materials and due diligence outputs
Equity Capital Markets (ECM)
- Support the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions
- Contribute to market updates, investor analysis and transaction positioning
- Assist in preparing pitch books, offering materials and execution documentation
Debt Capital Markets (DCM)
- Assist in the structuring and execution of bond issuances and other debt financing solutions
- Support pricing analysis, market monitoring and investor-related considerations
- Prepare client materials and transaction updates for internal and external stakeholders
Strategic Acquisition Finance & Rating Advisory
- Support a highly recognized franchise providing Strategic Acquisition Finance and Rating Advisory to key clients
- Assist in analyzing acquisition financing solutions, capital structures and rating considerations
- Prepare financial analysis and client materials to support strategic dialogue and transaction discussions

Profile required
- Graduate with degree in Finance, Economics, STEM, or related fields
- Sharp analytical mind: Distill complex data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated interest in investment banking and financial markets
- Effective communication skills
- Fluent English and Japanese (required); Asian languages (Mandarin, Korean, Hindi) advantageous
- Experience: 0-2 years (internships welcome; banking experience not essential)
- Collaborative, adaptable, and solution-driven mindset
