Exotic Trading Support Analyst
Responsibilities
Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland, a growing entity within the SG Warsaw Branch, is currently seeking an Exotic Trading Support Analyst to join our team.
Working within the Trading Support Unit, the Middle Office Analyst - Exotic Trading Support will be responsible for overseeing worldwide exotic products, including recording transactions in the information systems, managing the transaction lifecycle, and acting as the first level of control after the Front Office.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Modelling vanilla and exotic transactions, as well as traded events, within internal information systems
Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and completeness of data entries
Investigating and resolving discrepancies reported by relevant stakeholders
Coordinating the processing of requests and issue resolution across Front Office and support functions (including Middle Office Control, Back Office, Risk, and Finance).
Monitoring transactions lifecycle
Contributing to transversal initiatives and projects, including process automation, process convergence, production of risk and performance indicators, and impact analysis for new business activities
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You have 2+ years of experience in financial markets, ideally within a trading support, middle-office, or operations environment
You have a solid understanding of financial products and their lifecycle. Familiarity with exotic products and programming skills (Python) would be considered an asset
You have knowledge of transaction modeling processes and strong attention to detail
You have advanced proficiency in MS Excel
You communicate fluently in English and thrive in a fast paced, international environment
You are motivated and proactive with the flexibility to work full-time shifts between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CET (Warsaw time)
