Team Lead Bonds Settlement
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end settlement of Fixed Income trades across EMEA markets, ensuring timely and accurate completion within market cut‑offs.
- Act as senior escalation point for settlement fails, breaks, and high‑risk or time‑critical transactions.
- Manage settlements across ICSDs/CSDs including Euroclear, Clearstream, CREST, and local EMEA depositories.
- Ensure compliance with EMEA regulations, including CSDR settlement discipline and penalty frameworks.
- Oversee DVP/RVP, FOP, repo, buy/sell‑back, and money market transactions.
- Maintain strong operational controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness across settlement processes.
- Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Custodians, and external agents to resolve settlement and funding issues.
- Lead, mentor, and develop settlement team members, ensuring strong market knowledge and coverage.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and participation in system changes or UAT.
- Produce and review MIS, KPIs, and risk metrics to track settlement efficiency and reduce operational risk.
