Responsibilities

The TPRM Supervisor (2LoD) is responsible for providing independent second‑line oversight of third‑party risk management activities conducted by Business Units and Service Units. The role ensures that outsourcing and third‑party service risks are effectively identified, assessed, challenged, and monitored in accordance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversight and Challenge of TPRM Framework

  • Review and provide an independent opinion on the efficiency, adequacy, and compliance of the TPRM framework implemented by the BU/SU.

  • Assess the quality and robustness of outsourcing risk management practices across the organization.

2. Analysis and Challenge of Third‑Party Services

  • Analyze and challenge third‑party services managed by the BU/SU, including service characteristics, operational performance, contractual arrangements, and risk monitoring mechanisms.

  • Review and challenge BU/SU assessments of their outsourcing risk profiles and related remediation plans.

3. Contribution to the Normative and Operational Framework

  • Contribute to the design, improvement, and implementation of the normative and operational framework governing outsourcing risk management and second‑line challenge activities.

  • Participate in the development of methodologies, procedures, and tools supporting TPRM oversight.\

4. Stakeholder Communication and Coordination

  • Ensure high‑quality communication and effective coordination with 1LoD stakeholders involved in third‑party risk management.

  • Maintain constructive and professional interactions with regulators, internal governance bodies, and the operational risk management community.

  • Support the dissemination of best practices and contribute to awareness and training initiatives related to TPRM.

Profile required

·        Strong understanding of operational risk for different banking functions and related control frameworks

·        Proven experience in 2LOD or audit, particularly in the outsourcing / third party risk management

·        Knowledge of key topics related to Outsourcing/Offshoring, notably contract reading and understanding

·        Must be able to (i) properly use and interact with the subject matter experts from the BU/SU and other LoD1/LoD2 teams, and (ii) properly organize and present ideas in a concise and structured manner, both in writing (memo) and orally

·        High level of autonomy, strong analytical, writing and presentation skills

·        Capacity to develop and formalize work processes

·        Ability to comprehend data quality and data reporting for third parties

·        Good level of French and English (mandatory)
