What You'll Be Doing
As a Trainee, you'll help ensure that high-quality data is available to support key business decisions and operational processes. You'll work with colleagues across technology and business teams to:
- Analyse data from multiple systems and identify trends, issues and opportunities.
- Create reports, dashboards and visualisations that support decision-making.
- Maintain and update important business data.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues.
- Support data cleansing, validation and process improvement activities.
- Assist with data integration and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to projects that use analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver practical solutions.

- A genuine interest in data, analytics and technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to organise and interpret information effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
- Understanding of data quality and data management principles.
Desirable
- A degree or qualification in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or a related discipline.
- Experience gained through academic projects, internships, placements or personal learning.
- Exposure to cloud technologies or machine learning concepts.
- Basic understanding of databases, data analysis or SQL.
