Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Support daily, month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and perform account reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies.
  • Support accounting control and monitoring activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist in reviewing accounting entries and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support regulatory and financial reporting preparation and submission.
  • Participate in finance-related projects, process improvement initiatives and ad hoc analyses.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
  • Good coordination with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulator officer.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Manager.

Profile required

Bachelor's degree or above

  • Candidates with strong academic performance in Accounting, Auditing, Financial Reporting or related disciplines will be preferred

Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know-how

  • Open for graduates with potentials.
  • Min 1 year related working experience, internship experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting or finance functions is preferred.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts. Familiarity with PRC Accounting Standards, IFRS or banking accounting practices is a plus.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a regulated banking environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Language Skills

  • Good written and spoken English.

Computer Skills

  • Good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Excel functions and data processing is preferred.
  • Skills and expseience on utilizing AI tools, especially Microsoft Copilot, is a plus.

Department Description

Responsible for accounting, preparing various statements and reports, including regulatory reports, in accordance with the local laws, regulations and the requirements of the Group, elaborating financial budgets and tracking their completion, carrying out various financial control including expenses, and completing the calculation and payment of various taxes and fees.
