Lead Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
Within the GTE/ICR/Ayvens dept, you will be responsible for the governance of IT assets and the reliability of the Ayvens’s infrastructures. This role is key to ensuring compliance, security, resilience, and proper documentation of IT environments, in line with Group standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
IT Asset Management & Governance
Ensure the continuous update of the IT asset inventory (hardware, operating systems, PCs, screens, printers, network devices, etc.) within the Group CMDBs for all 44 Ayvens entities
Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of asset data
Organize and lead a formal quarterly review of the asset inventory
Produce monthly reporting on the overall asset landscape (coverage, obsolescence, compliance)
Obsolescence & Risk Management
Identify obsolete, unsupported, or vulnerable assets
Define, track, and contribute to remediation plans (replacement, upgrade, retirement)
Work closely with IT and Cybersecurity teams to reduce exposure to vulnerabilities
Infrastructure Documentation & Compliance
Ensure that all IT infrastructures are:
Properly referenced in Group tools
Documented in accordance with Group processes, standards, and templates
Maintain up-to-date documentation (architecture, dependencies, ownership, SLAs)
Resilience, Backup & Continuity
Define, formalize, and maintain a clear resilience and backup testing strategy for each infrastructure according group processes
Ensure that:
Backup strategies are properly documented for each infra
Restore and resilience tests are performed, tracked, and reported as per group requirement
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans (BCP/DRP)
Organize and coordinate DRT for Apps & Infra
Profile required
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of IT infrastructures (end-user devices, servers, networks, systems)
Experience with CMDBs and IT Service Management tools
Solid knowledge of security, obsolescence, resilience, and backup topics
Comfortable with reporting, KPIs, and IT governance
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in cross-functional environments (infrastructure, security, support)
Clear and structured written communication (documentation and reporting)
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Key Deliverables & KPIs
CMDB accuracy with quarterly audits
Monthly asset and risk reporting
Controlled levels of obsolescence and vulnerabilities
Infrastructure documentation aligned with Group standards
Executed and tracked backup and resilience test plans
