Liquidity Management Intern
Responsibilities
Mission:
Ensure the efficient, secure, and strategic management of the Bank’s liquidity, guaranteeing the availability of funds across payment systems and optimizing the deployment of financial resources. The role oversees payment transmissions and liquidity transfers, monitors the Bank’s accounts with the Central Bank, and manages daily investments in euro and other major currencies. By continuously monitoring financial risks, including interest rate, FX, and liquidity risks, the role ensures full compliance with internal and regulatory limits, implementing timely corrective actions when needed. Additionally, it conducts currency negotiations with both clients and market counterparties, contributing to the Bank’s financial stability and profitability.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Management of all liquidity flows of the Bank, ensuring the availability of funds in the payment systems
Transmission of payments and liquidity transfers
Monitoring and management of the bank’s accounts in Central Bank
Daily investment of availabilities in Euro and other major currencies
Monitoring of the financial risks (rate, change and liquidity risks), putting in place the action needed in case of breach
Negotiation of currencies with both clients and market counterparties
Profile required
Studies & experience:
Bachelor’s degree in economics/financial studies/engineering
Prior experience in Financial Industry and/or accounting experience would be a valuable asset
Language skills:
