Responsibilities

Société Générale S.A. Warsaw Branch is currently looking for a Business Continuity Analyst. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to further develop your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role. You will support the setup and operational management of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework for Société Générale wholesale banking entities across the EMEA region.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Supporting coordination of Resilience and Crisis Management processes in the EMEA region in cooperation with the EMEA Control & Operational Risk Officer and the Crisis and Business Continuity Coordinator in EMEA

  • Assisting serviced branches in EMEA with the definition and implementation of their Resilience and Crisis Management documentation

  • Conducting BIA data analysis, supporting data completion, and assisting Business Continuity Management Correspondents by explaining the tool, process, and methodology

  • Monitoring the Level 1 controls dashboard and coordinating with local BCM Correspondents when actions need to be completed on their side

  • Monitoring the completion of Business Continuity and Crisis Management tests and following up on deployment action plans

  • Preparing data packs and presentations for EMEA branches' Operational Risk Committees and other meetings held for the EMEA Resilience and Crisis Management community

Profile required

You will be best suited for the role if:

  • You hold an economics-related university degree

  • You have experience in a position related to business continuity and crisis management, ideally within financial services

  • You possess an understanding of business continuity management in complex organizations

  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable working with diverse data sources

  • You communicate clearly in English and work confidently in an international environment

  • You possess strong analytical skills, demonstrate a proactive approach, and pay close attention to detail
