Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities And Accountabilities
As a Project Manager within TPO, your core responsibilities include:
- Manage end to end transformations, from initial scoping and feasibility through delivery, and post mortem assessment.
- Identify, engage, and mobilize stakeholders across Management, Business, IT, Operation, Compliance, Legal, RISQ, and other relevant functions.
- Define the appropriate project methodology and governance model to ensure effective execution and optimized time to market.
- Formulate and document project objectives and requirements—functional, technical, and operational—in close partnership with key stakeholders.
- Balance client satisfaction, risk considerations, value creation, and speed to delivery when designing and evaluating solution options.
- Establish the project execution strategy (delivery approach, testing framework, migration plan, etc.), either directly or through designated stream leads.
- Take full ownership of the delivery, proactively managing uncertainties, dependencies, and risks that may impact outcomes.
- Ensure timely and on budget delivery of all workstreams, including those executed by contributors and partner teams.
- Collaborate with Global Teams, when relevant, to align Asia based initiatives with the global roadmap and strategic direction.
- Interface with subject matter experts in areas such as Security, Data, and Infrastructure to ensure adherence to SG Group standards.
- Provide clear, structured reporting to management on project progress, blockers, and decisions required to resolve issues or advance delivery.
- Continuously assess project health, refining ways of working as needed to enhance execution pace, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation, contributing to long term operational efficiency.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies where applicable.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators—including risk, cost, and timeline—throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee post rollout monitoring and stabilization to ensure sustainable adoption and controlled operations.
- Propose and drive change management actions to support user adoption and embed new processes or tools.
- Ensure proper documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, roadmaps, rational for key project decisions, SOPs, operational or system workflows and other essential materials.

- Ability to adapt communication to different level of interlocutors from Operational Teams to C-Level
Functional skills
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle for Cash Equity, Fixed Income, Exotic products, Listed & OTC Derivatives
- Front to Back process remediation / re-engineering (6-sigma based review)
- Sound knowledge of operational risk management and client services
Technical skills
- Outstanding skills in managing and analysing large dataset using Excel, SQL (PowerBI is a plus)
- Proficient in using Visio, MS Project, Quality Center, Jira
- Mastery of other MS Office suite applications (Word, PPT, etc.)
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in technology, finance, business administration or economics
- PMP or equivalent project management qualification is a plus
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification with project experience

Department Description
The Transformation, Project, and Organization team (TPO) acts as the delivery arm of GBTO (Global Banking Technology & Operations), overseeing strategic initiatives across business development, process optimization, and strengthening of risk and control frameworks.
The team comprises seasoned project managers, many PMP certified, with deep expertise in technology, operations, and investment banking products. It is organized around 3 “practices”, centre of expertise as follow:
