Responsibilities

As a KYC/AML Officer at Societe Generale Warsaw, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through the execution of KYC periodic reviews, client due diligence and risk assessments. Working in a dynamic international environment, you will collaborate closely with Front Office, Compliance and other internationally based stakeholders across our business line.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover: 

  • Managing end-to-end KYC periodic reviews for a portfolio of Investment Banking clients, including Italian market entities, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies

  • Conducting customer due diligence, AML risk assessments, and analysis of ownership and control structures

  • Performing sanctions and adverse media screenings, investigating potential risk indicators, and escalating findings in line with the Bank's risk framework

  • Preparing and validating KYC documentation and risk assessments, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date client profiles

  • Acting as a key point of contact for a variety of stakeholders, including Front Office, Compliance, Management and other business teams, to support the timely completion of KYC reviews

This role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You have previous professional experience (1-3 years) and a solid understanding of KYC/AML functions within a Corporate and Investment Banking environment

  • You are fluent in English. Proficiency in Italian, German or Polish would be a strong asset.

  • You hold a university degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Business Administration or related field

  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and you are comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders in a global and cross-departmental context

  • You are detail-oriented, equipped with strong analytical skills and committed to delivering high-quality work in a regulated environment
