Responsibilities

Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) is part of Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS), a key pillar of Société Générale’s universal banking model.

Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) is a leading player in servicing Irish domiciled and offshore collective investment vehicles. We act locally as fund administrator and depositary for a wide range of international clients who manage schemes from UCITS to AIFs, including private equity and real estate structures, hedge funds, and special investment vehicles.

In a dynamic and growing Company, you will work closely with the HR Manager on all aspects of HR in the employee life cycle across the SGSS Ireland entities, including: recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, training & development, talent management, employee relations, and HR compliance.

Responsabilities:

  • Provide first line support for all routine employee enquiries
  • Provide administrative support on a day-to-day basis to the HR Manager 
  • Assist in the development of HR procedures and policies
  • Carry out all recruitment administration including arranging interviews, assisting with / conducting interviews, and preparation of contracts of employment
  • Conduct onboarding for new employees joining the Company
  • Create and maintain all personnel files
  • Data entry and management of the HRIS
  • Track probationary periods, provide notification to managers in advance of probation end dates
  • Assist with compensation and benefits administration
  • Compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, employee turnover rates, and absenteeism rates.
  • Help identify training needs, source training vendors, and develop training plans for staff
  •  Assist with termination processes for employees, including exit interviews
  • Provide administrative support to various HR projects as they arise
  • Participate in the organisation of staff social and CSR events
  • Ad hoc requirements as directed by the HR Manager
  • Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in carrying out responsibilities
  • KRIs for the HR perimeter

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Master’s Degree, any discipline but ideally in social sciences

  • Previous HR experience advantageous

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  • Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office in particular

  • Strong organisational and administration skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual contributor

  • A proactive approach to work and positive “can do” attitude

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Dublin is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
