V.I.E. Programmer Analyst
Responsibilities
GBTO provides the most reliable, flexible and efficient Risk & Finance platform and deliver the shared market data repository for our partners in MARK, RISQ & DFIN to:
• Meet the strategic business needs of GBIS.
• Meet our regulatory commitments and secure the provision of reports to regulators.
• Optimize capital requirements.
• Distribute certified data.
• Manage and ensure the consistency of the PNL, Market, Liquidity and Credit Risks, and Accounting and Finance for the Bank
• Contribute to the digital transformation of GBIS.
GBTO/PRE/CFI provides to our partners two Fixed Income market risk calculators: RiskOne for the vanilla products and Highway for the Exotic world.
• RiskOne RT is the real-time risk analysis and valuation engine for fixed income, and foreign exchange.
• Great Server, GROS, DARIUS and Mercury are the main downstream applications offering the sensis, PnL figures for analysis and assist traders to manage their positions on daily basis.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Build, troubleshoot, and support in C#/.Net for various Front Office business applications
- Ensure the Real-Time indicators (PnL, Risks) produced by the Risk Engine gives the traders the most accurate and timely market position.
- Research production issues, including Analysis of the Greeks; PnL; and explanations of sensitivities
- Work closely with the front-office, RISQ and ARD department to design, implement and ensure timely deliveries
- Proactively perform code testing and UAT directly with traders prior to release
- Reinforce Agile and CI/CD methodologies for production stability and follow release management / change management processes.

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University
Language skills:
- A high level of fluency in the English language
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
