Lead Software Engineer - UAT & Release Support
Responsibilities
The UAT Manager / UAT Lead is responsible for organizing, monitoring and securing the monthly UAT process for releases, as planned in Release Management.
The main objective is to ensure that the UAT scope is clearly defined, tests are properly executed, issues are followed up, business validations are collected, and the Go / No-Go decision is prepared with the appropriate level of information.
Responsibilities
- Define and consolidate the UAT scope with Business Analysts, project teams and application stakeholders.
- Organize the UAT planning, launch meetings and follow-up meetings.
- Ensure that prerequisites are ready before UAT start: environment, data, deliveries, test cases and stakeholders’ availability.
- Monitor UAT runs and test execution progress.
- Coordinate quick validations when required.
- Follow up defects, incidents, blocking points and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with business users to obtain data validation and formal feedback.
- Escalate risks, delays or blocking issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepare and organize the Go / No-Go meeting.
- Consolidate UAT status, open issues, business validations and remaining risks.
- Communicate the Go / No-Go decision and follow up related actions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the UAT process.
Profile required
- Experience in UAT and Release coordination, functional validation or application delivery.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a monthly release cycle.
- Strong organization, follow-up and prioritization skills.
- Ability to identify, track and escalate risks or blocking issues.
- Ability to produce clear reporting, meeting minutes and decision materials.
- Rigor, autonomy and ability to work under time constraints.

- Should have hands-on Application Support experience.
- Skill on Unix shell scripts, scheduler/Control-M and SQL Queries
- Able to demonstrate the experience on Automation of manual tasks and checks
- Knowledge on JIRA - added advantage
- Preferred to have banking knowledge (Liquidity Risk - Added advantage)
- ITIL Foundation Certification - Added Advantage
- Ready to work in shift timings
