Responsibilities

As a DATA Project Manager, the candidate will join the Processes, Projects, Management and Reporting department within the Second-Level Control division of Société Générale Group’s Compliance Directorate.

They will be required to liaise with the team of data scientists in India, the permanent auditors and all members of the department across the following three areas: Management of digital projects and tool improvements, Processes and methodologies, and Performance indicators and reporting.

The Second-Level Control division carries out internal compliance audits across all business lines of the Société Générale Group. As such, each quarter, the department presents to the bank’s Executive Management the main risk areas identified during audit engagements, as well as data relating to the progress of these audit engagements.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist auditors and supervisors in implementing data-related solutions (Excel, Alteryx, Python, etc.) as part of their reviews
  • Help identify opportunities for process automation (reporting, testing, etc.) and contribute to the implementation of solutions
  • Contribute to the development of monitoring tools to track business activity
  • Help build the team’s understanding of data-related topics

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in IT
  • A previous experience in a similar position would be a plus

  • Fluent in English

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
