We are currently seeking talented Analysts to join our Mergers & Acquisitions team in Madrid on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transactions within a dynamic and international environment.

You will gain direct exposure to live M&A mandates while developing your technical, analytical, and client-facing skills alongside experienced investment banking professionals.

Your Opportunity

As an Analyst within our M&A team, you will play an active role in the execution of advisory mandates and strategic transactions. From day one, you will be involved in complex and challenging projects, benefiting from significant exposure to senior bankers, clients, investors, and external advisers.

You will contribute to a wide range of transaction types, including:

  • Buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions

  • Cross-border strategic acquisitions and disposals

  • Capital raising

  • Corporate valuations and strategic reviews

  • Financial modelling and valuation

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the execution of M&A transactions throughout the entire deal lifecycle

  • Preparing financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials

  • Conducting industry, company, and market research

  • Assisting with due diligence processes and data room management

  • Coordinating interactions with clients, legal advisers, consultants, and other transaction stakeholders

  • Preparing presentations, information memoranda, management materials, and client deliverables

  • Monitoring project timelines and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work

  • Contributing proactively to internal discussions and idea generation

  • Supporting senior bankers in the preparation of pitches and business development initiatives

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Previous experience ( up to 2 -3 years) in: Investment Banking; An M&A advisory boutique; Corporate Finance, Valuations, or Transaction Services within a Big Four firm; Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related financial advisory environments

Language skills:

  • Fluent English (minimum C1 level)

  • Spanish proficiency is required

  • French is considered a strong advantage.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Strong understanding of Corporate Finance and M&A concepts

  • Solid knowledge of valuation methodologies (DCF, Trading Comparables, Transaction Comparables, LBO Analysis)

  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Financial Modelling

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
