HIGHLIGHTS OF THE JOB
Hi, my name is Sandrine. I’ve worked in the finance department for five years as a Data Quality Manager. My main job is to implement a process of continuous quality improvement, by streamlining the various ways we correct and improve our processes, namely detection, diagnosis and resolution. It’s also to implement and oversee a process of quality control, especially via big-data testing through data-behavior analysis.
We approach data quality topics from a regulatory point of view but also from a financial perspective. All of our projects are managed via the Agile method, which for me is a collaborative approach that really does work, as there’s a lot of sharing between the development teams and the different specialist profiles.
I rarely get bored! I’m lucky enough to work in a dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving, I get to learn about and use new technology, such as big data, as well as new data visualization tools and new project methods.
It’s a job that lends itself to sharing and collaboration. So that’s probably why I’ve been working at Société Générale for the last 18 years.
You should be...
Able to show leadership
Comfortable in steering action plans
Analytic
Knowledgeable in the data industry
Master’s degree in engineering or business or university
